Levitate Travel: Madrid Part I

TBT (Throwback Thursday + Travel) Series: SPAIN! I've wanted to post these photos since my trip late last year but just never got to it. For year 2 of Levitate Style, I'm going to bring in more travel aspects to the blog by sharing all the cities I've been over the years. First up in this TBT series is Spain where I've shot quite a few Fall looks.

On our first day in Madrid, the weather was forecast to be mostly cloudy and rainy. To prepare for the usual Fall weather, I packed my trench coat (essential wardrobe item) and some leather sneakers that can stand against the rain. The style is season ready with a nice plaid shirt and darker blue jeans. I switched up the classic adidas samba sneakers with boot laces to add in that Fall details look. Whenever I travel I always bring with me a backpack to carry my camera, water, sweaters, whatever I might need for the day. Having a stylish outfit like this really seperates you from the obvious "American Tourist" look yet still comfortable all day. It feels great to dress the part and blend in with the crowd. Thank God it only rained for about 10 mins that day and the weather was beautiful the rest of the time we were there.
