Chicago Getaway at Hotel Zachary

 

When thinking of Chicago, some of the first things that come to mind are probably deep dish pizza, Millennium Park, and of course, baseball. When we booked our getaway to Chicago, we knew we wanted to stay somewhere that gave us a true, authentic experience. What hotel is perfectly positioned to do that better than Hotel Zachary, a distinctive boutique neighborhood hotel just across the street from historic Wrigley Field?  Perfectly situated in the heart of Wrigleyville and just a short drive from downtown Chicago, we were really excited to partner with Hotel Zachary. Combining vibrant, modern aesthetic and rich, classic elements with a unique neighborhood character that can’t be found anywhere else in Chicago, we had a perfect stay. Our Room

As soon as we entered our room, we were in awe of our incredible view of Wrigley Field. We appreciated the many artistic touches from the small details of the room to the carefully curated artwork. We also loved and were surprised by their bedside wireless phone charging docking station. The blend of classic and contemporary elements, paired with the rooms warm palette, gave the room a very comforting and relaxing feel.

 

Amenities
Their spacious downstairs lobby is connected to a cute cafe that was perfect for our caffeine fix. A partnership between them and the hotel allowed us to show our room keys in exchange for a free cup of coffee. That is one spectacular way to win our hearts.

The check in floor boasts communal tables perfect for getting some work done, a cozy couch area complete with a fireplace, a bar, and outdoor patio space. Together, it creates a perfect gathering place for visitors and locals to unwind. They also have a gym for guests, which had a wide range of equipment. Hotel Zachary’s effortless blend of style and history gave a very nice and relaxing atmosphere.

 

 

 

 

Dining
We had a late breakfast at The Bar at Hotel Zachary and instantly fell in love. We enjoyed their healthy omelette alongside the short rib hash and eggs. The portion size was hearty and we savored every bite. This social hub offers everything from neighborhood-inspired sandwiches and salads to shared plates, The Bar also offers a variety of classic cocktails, signature drinks, and boasts an extensive wine and beer program.
