3 Easy Ways to Update Your Apartment with Pottery Barn

Summer has come to its end and Fall is right around the corner. With every end of a season, I feel ready for a change. I wanted to update our apartment for a cozier fall vibe and I collaborated with Pottery Barn to add 3 key pieces to our living room. These pieces from the Pottery Barn's Apartment collection was the perfect choice for this update because their furniture is created in mind to maximize and make the most of your space. Living in NYC we don't have that much space to work with so here are 3 easy ways to update your apartment this season:
  • Marble Side Table - This is a piece I have always wanted! Marble is such a great accent material for any home interior and always adds an air of sophistication. With a small NYC apartment, this Pottery Barn piece was perfect for our living room because it's just big enough to stack magazines and books, but small enough to move around for different uses. This Montague Side Table is such a stylish and photogenic piece that also welcomes guests as soon as they enter the room.
  • Reversible Throw Blanket - I can already tell that this will be our most used piece this upcoming Fall and winter season. As soon as I touched it I wanted to do nothing else, but cozy up on the couch and light a candle. The menswear guy in me loves that this throw blanket is reversible and has two different patterns: stripes and gingham. We don't have much storage in our place for different throw blankets so I love that they offer reversible pieces to maximize my purchase and I can continue to change the look of the room. I chose the white and grey color to keep it nice and neutral so it will always be a nice piece to have on the couch. Throw it off to the side and it looks perfect on my leather Chesterfield couch.
  • Floating Picture Frame - The wall behind our couch was pretty bare and I wanted to bring more life to the room. I added this clean and simple white frame to complement the other white/grey Pottery Barn pieces and tie the room together. One simple frame can really add so much to the room.
