Time always seems to fly by and this summer has been no exception! As you guys know, Alicia and I travel a lot. We’re not usually in one place for very long so we particularly value the time we get to spend with our friends. This summer we both agreed that we want to place more value on being present in the moment, especially in the company of our loved ones.
We wanted to enjoy the NYC skyline alongside our friends and organized a very spontaneous rooftop dinner with our very favorite Stella Artois. (Remember – sometimes the best moments aren’t planned!) Our friends also lead busy lives so it was so nice to have everyone gathered to catch up and savor the moment together over dinner and delicious beer and cider. We chatted from sunset into the late night over some of our favorite summer staples that very nicely complement Stella Artois’s crisp beer and cider: cheese, grapes, caprese salad, BBQ chicken, and watermelon.

I like how the spontaneous rooftop dinner shows that some of the best memories come from unplanned gatherings and genuine conversations. The image of friends enjoying food, drinks, and the NYC skyline creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. In a way, it reminds me of Slope Rider, where I often enjoy the journey and unexpected experiences as much as reaching the destination.
