Quality Time at Sundance

Quality Time at Sundance
In collaboration with Express

Alicia and I recently spent a long weekend in Park City, Utah for the Sundance Film Festival and were very thankful to have some downtime! With January quickly coming to an end and Valentine's Day right around the corner, it was nice to have some quality time to just be together, relax, be cozy, and laugh. We spent time hanging around the Newpark Resort Hotel in our new Express pieces doing what we usually do - drinking coffee and laughing at each other.

For this style post, we are both wearing comfortable and cozy Express pieces perfect for breaking out of the winter slump, injecting some preppy stripes and lighter sweaters into our wardrobe. For our first look, I'm wearing the Striped Sleeve V-Neck Cotton Cardigan - a classy and preppy layer with a nice sleeve color blocking that you can wear over almost anything. Red is one of my favorite colors so this cardigan caught my attention right away. It's a no brainer to wear red for Valentine's day. This is a casual and cozy style to spend some quality time together. Alicia is wearing a very cute Off The Shoulder Lace-Up Balloon Sweater Sleeve Sweater, with the lace-up adding a very romantic touch. Alicia's style is very much a minimalist and the grey is great complement to my red while just as cozy and sexy.

For our second look, I am wearing the Stripe Sleeve Crew Neck Cotton Sweater. As soon as I saw it, I loved the striping down the sleeve. The color blocking and fit makes it a perfect essential item for spring that can be dressed up or down. Alicia is wearing the Mix Stitch Striped V-neck Sweater. She loves roomy sweaters and especially likes this deep v-neck and oversized shape that makes it an airy and comfortable spring piece. Both sweaters in the same color family complement well without being matchy-matchy.

Hope you like our matching style! Let me know what you think in the comments.
