Tech On the go in Iceland with Dell

On my most recent adventure, I decided to take my Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 laptop for a test drive along this Iceland journey. For my week-long trip, I knew I was going to be checking in and out of hotels, packing my bags on the go and driving daily road trips out of Reykjavik to chase after all the beautiful sights. With that being said, I made sure I was traveling light. The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 came in super handy not only because it’s thin and light, but because I was able to use it in different modes like laptop and tablet mode and the long battery life was perfect for the road.

The tablet mode was especially useful throughout the trip while I used it in my rental car driving through Iceland. I used the Maps app to access my top attractions and check them off as I explored. Anytime something urgent came up, I was able to pull over and use the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 in laptop mode. And we all know how travel plans can get so I definitely need my laptop to be as flexible as my plans in case I need to use it in unexpected ways. No matter where I was, the different positions – tablet, tent, laptop and stand mode- made it easy to use.

The highlights of this Iceland trip definitely has to be the Golden Circle tour and Black Sand beach in Vik. Each of these waterfalls and special natural attractions is so unique and unlike anything I've seen before. The Golden Circle is about 1.5 hr drive from city center, 3 hrs total roundtrip. Vik was a bit further but visiting Skogafoss at halfway point made the drive a lot easier. The Dell laptop came in especially handy because it's so portable and easy to bring along our daily adventures as part of my "everyday carry". I also got to use it to review my photos and videos on the go whenever we wanted to take a break.

Each night after a long day of exploring and capturing content, I like that I can review my photos and videos on the touch enabled InfinityEdge screen. I also love the laptop features a sleek and stylish design that really goes with my personal aesthetic and I can easily go from my hotel room to meetings to road tripping cross country.
