With the summer days winding down and Fall slowly making its way, I’ve teamed up with Express to show you my favorite way to rock denim. When I’m not traveling in a new country or on another road trip, I love to take the opportunity to explore my own city here in NYC. Seizing the day by checking out new places and making memories along the way.
I went with the classic Double Denim look with Express. Both the dark denim jacket and the skinny fit jeans are from Express. The trick to pulling off this look is to have different shades of blueWhen it comes to denim, the same menswear rule with fit applies the same.
Can’t go wrong with the iconic denim jacket that pairs perfectly with everything from graphic tees to button-ups. The durable stretch denim keeps me comfortable, while a dark wash adds personality to my look. The jacket and how you pair with it sets the tone for the rest of the look. I decided to go with a t-shirt and sneakers for a casual and stylish day-to-night look.
Choosing the fit that makes me feel comfortable and confident wherever I go. I decided to go with the SKINNY fit because I really like the tapered leg opening at 13.5”. No worries that it’s skinny fit for my athletic body type since it’s got just enough stretch in the denim to keep me comfortable all day. I would also highly recommend the Slim Fit at 14 3/4” opening.
