Setting The Bar: Holiday Party Style

Setting The Bar: Holiday Party Style
In collaboration with Bar III

In the blink of an eye, we went from October (Fall Foliage, Pumpkins, Halloween) straight to the holiday season. It’s November which means Thanksgiving is on everyone’s mind and next thing you know it’s already Christmas! From now to New Years, there’s going to be a lot of holiday parties coming up like Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving, Work Holiday party, and New Year’s Eve. I’ve teamed up with Bar III to show you two ways to dress for the holiday party season!  #SettingTheBar

A tux is a no-brainer for holiday parties. Always better to be overdressed than underdressed for special occasions. This is a great sophisticated style look paired with the blackwatch plaid - a timeless pattern. The pattern is really subtle and shows when the light hits. Finish off the look with the Black Double Monkstrap Boots - a great alternative to the dress shoes or loafers and goes well with both party looks.

Look no further for the ultimate dapper look this season! I’ve always wanted a bold red velvet sport coat for the holidays because it’s eye-catching and classic. The black-satin peak lapel goes perfect with the bowtie and black accessories. I just love the feel of the jacket and the texture of velvet makes it look more interesting. It’s such a fun piece to break out during this time of the year. You can easily dress it down for the tacos after-party or pair it with a turtleneck sweater and jeans for a cocktail party.
