For the Fall Season, I've teamed up with Macy's to feature a Bar III Suit for the #WearToWork series. It's going to be a three-part series to show you various ways to wear a suit to work. The series will give examples of how a suit can be one of the most versatile items in your 9-5 work wardrobe. I decided to take on this series by going outside the box from your everyday navy & grey suits with a challenge - the Bar III Olive Multi-check Three-Piece suit. This suit has caught my attention because 1) Fall season ready, 2) Patterns with navy & brown, and 3) my love for three-piece suits!

Second part of the #WearToWork series, I am breaking up the three-piece suit to the traditional Suit & Tie look. This is the everyday typical menswear look that is office ready. To set the bar higher in my office style, I went with a nice and subtle pattern mixing combination. For the suit, I have a multi-check pattern in navy and brown. For my shirt and tie, I went with both stripes but in different colors and thickness. Finally, I added a simple navy dot pocket square to pull the whole combo together. The colors are all in the blue family - light blue and navy with gray that really complement each other making it easy to match. I picked out these mixed media leather oxfords because I love the different brown tones and texture on the shoes. The shoes are a bit heavier because it has a rugged bottom that stand against rain and snow in the Fall/Winter season.

Like I said earlier in the intro, I love this suit because of its Fall seasonal colors and it also goes really well with a camel topcoat. Once the temperature starts dropping, I'll need to layer up with a topcoat on the suit. The look is timeless and classic. On the other hand, once Happy Hour hits (5pm anyone?) just ditch the tie and I am business casual ready for a nice drink in my hand. It's a cool look without being stuffy with a tie on. It's after work...dress like it! Either way check out the full feature to see all three looks below!

Stay Tuned for Part III in the Bar III #WearToWork Series to see how I rock this suit for the holiday party!
